Get involved
Two ways to get involved
There are two ways to get involved: volunteer your time or build a referral partnership with us as an organization.
Volunteer with us
Much of what women need as they rebuild their lives is not specialist support. Sometimes, it is someone who can sit down and explain how credit scores work, facilitate a workshop, welcome guests at the front desk, or lend a hand at an event.
There are many ways to contribute:
- Share your skills — lead or support sessions in areas such as financial literacy, careers, technology, or wellness.
- Support programs — help deliver workshops, events, and other community programs.
- Contribute behind the scenes — assist with administration, communications, fundraising, and other operational needs.
- Mentor — support a woman as she works toward her education or employment goals. Training is provided.
What to expect
Because we work with women who deserve and require a safe, supportive environment, every volunteer completes an application, interview, police check, and orientation. The process is straightforward and helps us uphold our commitment to the safety, dignity, and trust of the women we serve.
